The problem
Counting calories by hand is tedious, and it's easy to give up on. NutriLog cuts it down to one step: take a picture of your plate.
How it works
- AWS Rekognition Labels the ingredients it finds in the photo.
- Nutrition lookup Each ingredient is matched against nutrition data from the web to estimate calories, carbohydrates, fat and protein.
- PostgreSQL on Supabase Every entry is saved to the user's log, so they can look back over a day or a week.
Testing
Unit tests are written in Vitest, with build and test scripts so every change runs through the same checks.
